Welcome to Our Website!

The Antigua and Barbuda Studies Association (ABSA) is an organization that is devoted to bringing together scholars of Antigua and Barbuda, so that we can meet regularly to exchange ideas and share our work. It was founded in 2006, has been meeting annually ever since, and produces a journal, The Antigua and Barbuda Review of Books.

Why bartiguastudies.org?

In coming up with a domain name for our Association’s website, we wanted to affirm the postcolonial goal of unity and equality between Barbuda and Antigua—a goal we still have to work at if we are going to achieve it.
